Penn and Teller, Fool Us is a competition for magic television show where magicians perform tricks in front of American magician-comedian duo Penn & Teller. Its initial season was masterfully hosted by Jonathan Ross, and the second season from then on by the Penn & Teller, Fool Us Host Hannigan.
Each episode starts off by introducing the purpose of the series. Penn & Teller come out and take their seats towards the stage. The hopeful magicians perform their acts before them in front of a an audience of live viewers. Following each show, Penn & Teller privately confer while the host interviews the magicians. Penn & Teller then reveal whether they are aware of how the trick was executed, usually using cryptic words or by noting down the procedure and then present it to the magicians to confirm, so as to avoid divulging the method behind the trick.

Fool Us was filmed at Fountain Studios in London, England (season one) as well as the Penn & Teller Theater in Las Vegas (season two onward).
