Fool Us was filmed at Fountain Studios in London, England (season one) and the Penn and Teller Theater located in Las Vegas (season two onward). Following each show, if Penn & Teller cannot figure out how a trick was done, then the magician(s) who performed the trick are awarded the Fool Us trophy and a five-star flight to Las Vegas to perform as the opening act in Penn & Teller`s show, which is also held at The Rio Hotel & Casino.

The 18th season debuted on the 1st of October 2021.
